Which document do you need translated?
The certificate your recipient requests determines the purchase. We translate legible names, institution, major or degree, date, certificate number, signature and seal from Simplified Chinese into English.

|---|---|---|
| Graduation certificate | Yes | Course completion and eligibility to graduate |
| Degree certificate | Yes | Bachelor, Master, Doctor or other degree awarded |

When can this translation be used?
- Subclass 462: the first-visa checklist asks for education evidence. Chinese passport holders must meet its education requirement; translation does not establish qualification or English-language eligibility, ballot selection or visa approval. Check your Home Affairs document list.
- Other Home Affairs visas: Home Affairs skilled-visa translation guidance asks for English translations of non-English documents and the NAATI practitioner number for translations completed in Australia. Follow your visa checklist. Home Affairs document and translation questions.
- VETASSESS Chinese Qualifications Verification: degree, graduation and transcript records are separate, with pathway-specific original and translation requirements. Confirm your pathway; NAATI translation is not the only translation route specified in VETASSESS Chinese Qualifications Verification requirements.
- Ahpra registration: check the required qualification records and translations. Ahpra translation requirements says Australian translations of non-English qualifications must use a NAATI-accredited translator and extract translations of degrees, diplomas, certificates or transcripts are not accepted. Translation is separate from registration approval.
- For university, TAFE, college or course applications, confirm the required certificate or transcript.
- For other visa, migration, citizenship, employer, lawyer, school or government requests, follow the specific qualification-evidence requirement.
Price, Turnaround and Delivery
- Standard: A$45 per certificate; usually about 12 hours for a clear standard document.
- Priority: A$72 per certificate, including a 60% surcharge of A$27; PDF by email within 1 hour. Available 24/7. The hour starts after payment and receipt of every clear, complete file; postal delivery and separately arranged services are outside that hour.

- A$45 excludes academic transcripts, which vary in content and page count. Chinese-to-English transcripts cost A$65 per page and are arranged separately; confirm the page count and total.
- The NAATI-certified PDF can be used online where the recipient accepts PDF uploads. Follow its instructions for the source document, certified copy, other academic records and file format. Ask before ordering about postal delivery, its cost and timing.
Customers in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and elsewhere in Australia can send scans online and receive the English PDF by email.
What Should I Upload?
A phone photo is suitable if the entire certificate is readable, including all text, edges, seals and numbers, without glare or obstruction. Make the name, institution, major or degree, date and signature clear. Enter passport-matching English name spelling in the order notes; no passport upload is needed solely for spelling.
Important Notes
- NAATI translation is separate from a certified copy, witnessing, notarisation, Apostille, Authentication, skills assessment or registration decision.
- We confirm unclear, complex, multi-page, attachment-heavy or special-requirement files before starting; a written quote may be needed.
